I understand charging for premium features, but that's not what's happening here. They're charging a ton for super basic functionality that should be an open API. You can't even turn the sound off, or reduce the maximum sound. Turning down the volume isn't some new special value or "ongoing innovation" that needs a subscription. As is, this bassinet isn't smart. Go up to cradlewise, or down to one of the ones that just rocks all night, snoo is a useless middle ground.

terrible. not helpful. time consuming. I was trying to get help in the app and you only get 3 free messages a day! and 10 total! a limit to the help I get! yeah no, I'm deleting it. not helpful, doesn't even work! if I'm using my phone to use it I shouldn't have to create an account! this is stupid and aggravating! I'm not even able to sync the snoo to the app. and needing to hook up to my Wi-Fi is another weird thing!

You buy a $1500 bassinet, yet you still have to pay a subscription for the features of the app to work. Edit: Snoo claims that anyone who buys from them gets the premium subscription free. If this is true, why did it turn off on my account in the first place? Original account from day one and when my third kid came around, all the features went away. I can't even change the responsiveness without paying a subscription now. Can't find where to activate complementary premium anywhere!

I know a lot of these reviews talk about the premium subscription. You get the premium subscription if you rent or buy directly from them up to a certain amount of time. I haven't had issues with that. But the app has so many bugs! This is my second time using the snoo, and the original app didn't have problems. This one has so many. Tha main one is the "connecting to snoo" issue, which means you can't manual bump up the snoo when needed. Fix these bugs!

Adding a subscription for weaning mode is wild. Having to pay to help stop using your product is sad. The new subscription terms are unacceptable, and the app is not at a quality level to charge so much. For example, the tracker is very cumbersome to use, and making adjustments is super painful. The article notifications bug out the UI if you click on them because it opens on the devices tab, not the timeline tab. The day change and week change occur at different times.
