Growing increasingly frustrated with this app! Not only do I have to search for an article I'd just received an notification for, but i have to constantly log in with my user name and password, wait for the app for load (5 - 10 seconds), then search for the article I just received a notification for! I can't do this anymore. I'm sure there are better apps to get news from concerning Chicago. DELETE!! 😠😡

Ever since the latest update, this app keeps putting my phone to sleep 😤 I listen to the news when I shower and get ready for work in the mornings. Also have it playing in the background in my office. It is NOT a timer issue with my phone. The abc7 app is the only one that puts both my phone and tablet to sleep while I am actively watching or listening to it. Netflix, Prime, etc. do not do that. I can watch/listen to entire movies on other apps just fine. But not this one.

I primarily use this app to stay updated on the weather. The daily forecasts are pretty accurate, and the videos of the weather broadcasts are definitely helpful. I have experienced a couple glitches with the app. The hour by hour temperature forecast is often incorrect, and it seems to be displaying the "real feel" temperature instead of the actual temperature. The other problem I frequently experience is the live Doppler radar images of precipitation not appearing on the maps at all.

App doesn't always open. I end up having to close all apps and reopen to get it to work. Features in the app do not work (links for video or pictures) and ALOT of the articles and stories have a ton of grammatical and spelling errors. *UPDATE* Here it is 7 years later (Feb. '22) and the same remarks still apply. Nice job whoever maintains this app. How silly of me to think they might actually address the issues and fix them.

Since the major redesign of your app it has been terrible. Especially when trying to access it from an external site. You went for pretty and lost functional in many ways. You're welcome. Additional and more in-depth. When you click on a link outside the app it takes you to the app but not the story itself. Then you have to search and a lot of times that article is not able to be found.
