Features & Highlights
BetterMe: Health Coaching stands out in the crowded world of health apps, offering a variety of features that cater to users' individual needs. Here are some of the core highlights that I found particularly beneficial:
Real Experience Using BetterMe: Health Coaching
Application Scenarios
My daily routine has become significantly more health-conscious since I started using BetterMe. Whether I’m at home, in the office, or traveling, the app seamlessly fits into my lifestyle. For instance, I often use it during my lunch breaks at work. I can easily pull up a quick 10-minute workout or a healthy recipe without needing to spend too much time. On weekends, I utilize the app to plan more extensive workouts or meal prep sessions, turning my kitchen into a mini health hub. When I traveled recently, I appreciated the offline mode, allowing me to stick to my fitness regimen even without internet access.
User Experience
The user interface of BetterMe is intuitive and easy to navigate. I found the onboarding process straightforward; it quickly guided me through setting up my profile and preferences. The feature workflow is smooth, enabling me to switch between workouts, meal tracking, and community support without feeling overwhelmed. The visuals are bright and engaging, which made logging my meals and workouts feel less like a chore and more like an enjoyable habit. In terms of performance, the app runs flawlessly on my device, with no lag or crashes, which is crucial for a seamless workout experience. Overall, using BetterMe has left me feeling empowered and motivated, as I can easily see my progress and celebrate small wins along the way.
Pricing
BetterMe offers a subscription model that provides access to premium features. While the app has a free version, I decided to invest in the premium subscription to unlock personalized coaching and advanced features. The pricing, though slightly on the higher side compared to other apps, feels justified given the amount of valuable content and customization I received. Plus, the subscription options are flexible, allowing for monthly, quarterly, or yearly payments, making it easier for users to choose according to their budget.
Updates & Support
The BetterMe team is proactive in providing updates that keep the app fresh and relevant. I’ve noticed new features and workout routines added regularly, which keeps my experience exciting. Additionally, their customer support is commendable. Whenever I had a question about a feature, I reached out through the chat function in the app, and I received a prompt, helpful response. It’s reassuring to know that there's support available whenever I need it!
Security & Privacy Review
As an American user, security and privacy are critical factors when choosing health apps. BetterMe offers its app through reputable platforms like the App Store and Google Play, instilling confidence in its credibility. During registration, I had to provide basic personal data such as my name and email, but I appreciated that they didn't require overly intrusive information, which often raises red flags.
Regarding ads and tracking behavior, I noticed that BetterMe does collect some data to enhance user experience, but it is done transparently and with consent. There are no annoying pop-up ads, and the app focuses on providing value rather than bombarding users with promotions. Overall, I feel secure using BetterMe, knowing that my personal health data is treated responsibly.

This app is really good for those who are getting back into exercise. Just be careful of what choice u pick when u say you're beginner, moderate, or do daily exercise. I thought i was moderate, but after doing these, I was like... I think I need to be a beginner. But it gets me going, energized, and I feel the workout the next day. The cost is the only issue I have with the app. I don't have the budget to spend $20+ on the app. I used the free trial. and boy i want to continue after the 14 days.

Information is all good, but there is lots of room for app improvement. Challenges were a disappointment (preset daily message about a generic healthy habit with a linked youtube video for the exercise). The training section is separated into categories, but there is no other way to filter anything. You can find similar exercise sets on youtube/tiktok for free. It feels pretty bare bones for an app, but it has promise if they update features.

These people will offer a 6 dollar trial for 1 week and then auto bill you 40 dollars a month. They are not up front about the billing terms. Terms are buried in their app. I constantly get adds from the trying to sell additions to their plan every time I am in the app. It isn't even a very well thought ut workout. I've seen better for free. THIS IS A SCAM!!!!! And as far as the response, no, they do not make it apparent they would auto bill me 1 week later for 40 dollars for 1 months service.

I just downloaded and pay the fees but I am bit disappointed cuz I tough all programs were included and more structured but you actually need to pay them individually. The free one you can easily find them on YouTube. Not impressed. I was very excited about this app. I will try the 4 weeks because it's been paid off but not guaranteed that I will stay after. 😐

So far so good! I really enjoy the guided workouts. Exercise is a hard journey to start because it's hard to know what to focus on to reach your goals. The apps guided workouts makes it easy to just follow along! I'm excited to see what sort of results I get after my 3 months. It motivates me to eat better too, because if I exercise I feel less inclined to put bad food in my body.
