4.7 Hubspace is a cloud-based project management and collaboration tool designed to help teams work together more efficiently. The app offers a variety of features, including task management, file sharing, real-time messaging, and video conferencing. Hubspace is available for free on the App Store and Google Play.
Features & Highlights
Hubspace has quickly become one of my go-to applications for managing my daily tasks and projects. Its robust set of features really sets it apart in the crowded app marketplace. Here are some core highlights that I appreciate:
Real Experience Using Hubspace
Application Scenarios
In my day-to-day life, Hubspace has been a game changer. For starters, I use it to manage both my professional and personal tasks. On a typical Monday, I open Hubspace in the morning to review my projects. As I start my week, I rely on the app to prioritize my tasks, from client meetings to grocery shopping.
Another scenario where Hubspace shines is during collaborative efforts. I recently had a team project for work that required constant communication and updates. Hubspace enabled us to create a shared workspace where we could assign tasks, set deadlines, and provide feedback in real-time, streamlining our workflow and enhancing productivity.
User Experience
The user interface of Hubspace is one of its standout features. The clean, minimalist design makes it easy to navigate, even for someone who might not be tech-savvy. I particularly love how I can switch between different views—list, calendar, and kanban—depending on my mood or the nature of the task at hand. The performance is smooth; I have yet to encounter any lag or crashes, even during intensive usage.
Setting up tasks and reminders is straightforward. I simply click on the ‘add task’ button, fill in my details, and voilà! The onboarding process was equally impressive, guiding me through essential features without overwhelming me with information. After using Hubspace for a few weeks, I can confidently say it has become an integral part of my daily routine.
Pricing
Hubspace offers a freemium model, which I find quite appealing. The basic version is free and provides ample features for individual users. However, for those who need advanced capabilities like enhanced collaboration tools and additional storage, the premium subscription is reasonably priced. I opted for the premium tier after a few weeks of use, and I believe it adds significant value to my productivity.
Updates & Support
One of the highlights of my experience with Hubspace has been the consistent updates. The developers are clearly committed to enhancing the user experience, as I've noticed several new features rolling out regularly. Also, the customer support is commendable; I reached out once with a minor issue, and I received a prompt and helpful response, which reassured me that I was using a reliable product.
Security & Privacy Review
As an American user, security and privacy are paramount when using any application, and Hubspace does not disappoint. It is available on both the App Store and Google Play, which adds a layer of credibility. Upon registration, I was only asked for essential personal data, which is a relief compared to other apps that request excessive information.
Regarding ads and tracking behavior, Hubspace is refreshingly straightforward. I have not encountered intrusive ads while using the app, and I appreciate that they are transparent about their data usage policies. Hubspace assures users that their information is kept secure and used only for enhancing user experience. Overall, I feel safe using this app, knowing that my data is treated with respect and care.

Nice Idea That Doesn't Work. The app downloads easy enough and creating the account is easy. When it comes to adding a device, scanning the qr code pops it right up... then comes adding the network. There are none. Despite how many 2.4 ghz networks I have (and that are on the area), nothing shows up. It's only suggestion is try another phone. Yes, I am going to go buy a new phone to try and make this work.

Update: After being directed to reach out using the number provided, not only was i not able to get the issue resolved. 1) the first customer service agent tried to assist and but then either hung up or the connection was lost. Called back a second time and that customer agent could not be understood. Cannot get any of the lights to connect to my Wi-Fi system so that they can be controlled remotely. they seem to work okay if I get close and can use Bluetooth

Works much much better! They've added widgets and it's working perfectly. The app opens a lot faster now too! Great stuff. Tbh I'll keep an eye out for hubspace stuff going forward. Old: It works well, but it takes too long to open the app. I wish there was a widget available I could use to quickly toggle a light on/off or maybe switch to a preset dim/colored light.

So it's pretty good, but it lacks one major piece to get 5 stars: the ability to link a schedule to a group of bulbs rather than having to create each one individually. ie I have two in an overhead fixture, they are grouped but I have to set up all the scheduled on, off, sunset, morning wakeup, etc on one of them, then recreate each one of those for the second bulb as well. Adding a schedule should also give the option to apply to a group or room so that you can literally group them together.

You can tell alot of resources went into making this app marketable. All you need to do to use is buy the product, create an account, give your email, location, wifi password, and then figure out how to digitally turn on your plug. Oh if you have to turn off your breaker or unplug the device at any time, good luck. You'll need to manually unpair and rescan every device. The UI is non-intuituve, but THANK GOD there's a whole section (¼) for buying more product. I do like the dark mode though, +1.
