App is great when it works. It won't let me sign in. I've uninstalled and reinstalled and rebooted my phone. Tried it on another phone, same issue. Either pressing the login button does absolutely nothing or I get an error that says they are have problems logging me in. I'm trying to book a trip and give you money and the app just won't work. Frustrating and hard to understand. Glad I'm not on a trip and needing to use the app! Just tried it on an iPad and it works just fine. Nice.

I really like the app. I think it's clear, it's crisp, and it's fairly responsive most of the time. The biggest issue is being able to look up multiple dates or compare multiple dates and train travel. I get that is part of the policy and design, but I do spend quite a bit of time looking at different days and different times trying to figure out when to travel for a good price that matches with family schedule. This isn't wholly on Amtrak. here is hoping trains become more popular! 🤞🎉

Great never had an issue. One of the best transportation apps for ease of use. They have plenty of discount fares and a large selection of trip options, times and destinations. They also have a great cancellation policy-if you cancel your ticket before your trip starts, you can get a full refund. My only complaint is train delays. However, they do have a new system which will text you if your train is running late. It does help a lot.

Not really sure where to post a complaint about this, but Amtrak baits and switches all the time. Even in the same session, no refresh, no exiting and re-entering the app, when I'm on the checkout screen and put in all my information, the app says the fares have expired and gives me a higher rate. This is incredibly scummy behavior and no wonder people don't take trains in the US. Any other transportation agency at least has the decency to hold your rate when you're about to check out. 0/10.

When I book tickets a month or more out and the departure times change, I can no longer access my trip. If I call I can get updated PDF tickets, but I lose all ability to check or upgrade my trip without the hassle of calling and waiting on hold. This issue is frustrating and it's the same on the website. If you're going to make everyone call, hire more agents to answer.
